Come and meet the Staff at Laurie Hopkins Menswear, Huddersfield

Laurie Hopkins Menswear was founded in 1987 by Laurie who had for the previous 30 years worked within the Uk menswear sector. Starting as an apprentice Tailor and Cutter. Laurie later moved into Menswear retail and was for the last 15 years, prior to setting out on his own, a Director for one of the Major UK multiple mens and ladieswear companies. His primary focus during this time was the buying of menswear for the companies 30+ stores and the overseeing of its tailoring and made to measure facilities based in Leeds.

Almost 20 years ago, Laurie branched out on his own and started Laurie Hopkins Menswear here in Lindley, Huddersfield. Right from the start his mission was to provide quality menswear at competetive prices with a level of service that was second to none. Today, those values and qualities are still very much the ethos for Laurie Hopkins Menswear.

	Laurie (the founder and driving force behind Laurie Hopkins Menswear) although officially of retiring age, is still involved on a Part Time basis.
Michael Hopkins - Michael joined his Dad Laurie at here at Laurie Hopkins Menswear (arguably, Yorkshire's premeire Independant menswear shop) some 18 years ago. He came to cover for 2 weeks whilst Laurie had his appendix out and is still here! With a background in Retail and Commercial sales, Michael has (along with his Sister Jayne), taken over the day to day running of the shop from Laurie.
	Jayne Senior (Laurie's Daughter), joined the team here at Laurie Hopkins Menswear 16 years ago, she started working on a 1 day a week basis and now works full-time.
Michael Fisher joined the team here at Laurie Hopkins Menswear in February 2002 after having worked for a hgh street menswear multiple shop. He has considerable experience in the Menswear trade and Hirewear Trade.
