We recently had a customer who needed an extra long inside leg trouser, his wife had bought him a 34″ Inside leg but it just was not long enough.

So after a quick phone call to Meyer in Germany they came up with a solution and supplied him with a pair of 36″ inside leg cotton trousers from their stock service range.

This makes a great alternative to having to have made to measure trousers and is so much quicker.

Whilst we don’t stock this length inside leg as a rule, we are more than happy to order these trousers on a special order and it usually takes around 4 working days from them to arrive.

Well it seems both ages since I last updated this blog and ages until Christmas but we are already getting a steady stream of customers who are Christmas Shopping for their loved ones and buying the latest fashions whilst they are still available - remember, its the early bird that catches the worm!

If you get this months (November 2008) Yorkshire Ridings Magazine, then look out for Michael as his photograph is in the magazine. He and Jayne were invited to the Yorkshire Ridings luncheon at Whitley Hall (Sheffield) but unfortunately, Jayne couldn’t make it so Michael invited his Niece, Carla Coulson along for the day.

Michael said it was a splendid occasion, the sun shone all day and the food & wine were terrific and the company excellent.

I have often read and heard about the power of the Internet and increasingly so in our shop environment we are coming across it.

Take today for instance,  we had a busy Internet day, we:

• Received orders via our On-line Menswear Shop
• Got an email requesting a brochure on our Mens Wedding Hire ranges.
• Were contacted by an Internet customer who wanted two pairs of trousers making from their own material via our Mens Made to Measure service.

Today was a great example of the old meeting the new, the old skills of retailing and made to measure meeting the new era of an Internet Savvy world.

Great.
